REINCARNATION

We notice things in our lives, so we wonder. How is it that we have a sense of having met someone at a different time, or having done something at a different time, or having been somewhere at a different time, when we know it has not happened that way in our life? Why do we instantly like or dislike someone we believe we've never met? What about karma, and exactly what is it that we are feeling when the things that happen feel like there is a particular reason for them? Are my problems now a result of something I did in another lifetime?​ World religions do not discuss reincarnation. Christianity comes close when referring to a life beyond death, but offers no clear information about how life beyond death works. Many people have different ideas about what reincarnation is. The facts are these.

Life

As beings, our purpose is to live the life that the Earth, the planet of life, gives to each of us at the time of creation.  We incarnate, meaning come into life, more than one time. We incarnate endlessly.  We experience life differently every time we experience it. The person who each of us becomes is based on the being that we were created to be​​​​​​​.

When we die, no matter whether our bodies are buried or cremated, our being returns to the earth to wait until our being is given new life. This process takes about 3-4 years to complete. At that time, we return to life as a different person, with a different body and a different name. ​

Déjà vu

The feeling of having already experienced being somewhere you have not been, or meeting someone you have not met, or doing something you have not done before, is referred to by the French phrase, "deja vu", meaning "already seen". When we get these feelings, we try to place where they came from. Was it a movie seen once? Was it something read somewhere? Was that person's face seen in an ad or on TV? We try to make sense of this feeling that suggests we have experienced before this thing that we are currently experiencing for the first time.

Deja vu has only one explanation. It is our sensing of other lives that we have lived, and the awareness of something that happened in a lifetime other than the one we are currently living in. It is a sense of having been to this place, but in a different time. It is a sense of having done this particular thing, but as a different person. It is a sense of having known well a person we have only just met. When these things come to the surface from another time, it is not something that we planned. It is that all time, past, present, and future, exists at the same time, and that  at times our awareness is heightened to the degree that we are able to sense bits of our other lives.

 

If nothing else, it is a way of knowing, because we do not remember, that we have lived before.

Karma

Karma suggests that if you do bad things in this life that bad things will happen to you in the next life. What is true is this: Doing bad things in life causes negative energy to build up on the energetic signature that people have. The more negative energy that builds up, the greater frequency of a variety of problems that occur in life, generally.
