*I have gained knowledge about the physical body through the study of anatomy and physiology, and through the experience gained in working with the physical body.

​

*I have gained knowledge of the human emotional system through the study of Psychology, and through the experience of teaching children for 10 years, which has been much like clinical experience. A wide array of emotional situations, presented on a daily basis, has given me a clear understanding of what things trigger, and what things balance, emotions that are out of balance.

 

*I have gained knowledge about the human energetics system through study of Reiki, and through subsequent Reiki Certification and practice, and through the understanding of and practice of manipulating energy. The energy that the living body uses is delivered to the body through the system of chakras, and flows in a system of meridians that encompasses the physical body, something like the circulatory system does.
 

Like everything, energy systems need to be maintained so that they are functioning well. There are three things that impact functioning of energy systems in the human body: human connection to human, human connection to Earth, and human connection to the Universe. 

 

The incarnation process, that is, the process of coming into life, requires all people to agree to uphold the tenets of the Gift of Life that are: to care for each other to the best of the ability of each person, and to safeguard the Gift of Life. We also agree to do for each other in life the things that we agreed to do before coming into life.

 

First, when we do not care for each other to the best of our ability to do so, and when we fail to do the things that we agreed to do for each other in this life, it means that the support that was planned does not happen, and people are left without help in the situations that were known would occur that were planned for, only to be abandoned in their time of need by those who had agreed to help when the time came. This circumstance is referred to as Failure to Fulfill Incarnation Agreement. ​Situations in which a person kills more than once, or like a serial killer does, or like happens in a holocaust, that is wholesale murder and wholesale suffering, these things are referred to as Acts Against Incarnation. The negative energy that results from Failure to Fulfill Incarnation Agreement, and Acts Against Incarnation, stays with the people who do these things. Negative energy builds up over time that is lives lived time because the people who do these things seem to do these things in every life that they experience. The people who do these things that act against life and that fail to fulfill promises made are not able to access the power resource that is available to the people who care about others.

 

Next, the incarnation process is designed so that every person who comes into life has the ability to draw energy from the Earth as one of the power sources available to us, but that is only available in its entirety to those of us who make an effort to keep the Earth healthy. People who reduce and reuse and recycle and conserve from overuse all of the resources of the Earth do their part to keep the Earth healthy. This in turn gives humans who care for the Earth the full degree of available energy. Humans who do not care for the Earth do not receive the full degree of available energy; they receive only a basic level on which to live. When we do not care for the Earth, the Earth does not care for us the way that the Earth could, and does not send us the energy that it could send.
 

The earth connection is important to understand because there are those who think that life and human beings came about either randomly or through coalescence out of chaos. Life in the forms that we know of is ordered and organized, like body systems, and did not happen at random and certainly did not happen as a result of chaos. Occurrences at random and occurrences in chaos produce randomness and chaos not things that are ordered and organized. ​Life occurs on planets where life has viability, like the Earth. The Earth then organizes the Life Absolute that occurs on the Earth so that there are many different life forms in existence: bacteria, insects, plants, animals, human beings who evolved out of animals. The Earth is, in fact, our mother which is why we derive a portion of our life energy from the Earth.

​

The other source that powers the human body comes from a source that is beyond ourselves and the planet that we live on. Many believe that deity is that power, but divine beings are a part of mythology that humans create to explain the unexplainable. In reality, Earth is one planet among nine that exist in the one of the many planetary systems that are a part of what is called the Universe. Multiverse Theory suggests that our universe is one of many, each with its own laws of physics and conditions, that I believe is true. Something so far beyond our understanding is impossible to verify. Yet, it is my understanding that the Universe acts in ways that we do not understand, and acts to protect Life in all of the places where Life Is Viable that Life Is. Life on the Earth is viable, and Life on the Earth is. The Universe acts to protect the life that is on the Earth, and acts to protect the Earth itself. The Universe provides the third source of power that is available to human beings.

The general belief is that a Power far greater than a human being gave form and substance and existence to nothingness. This is true in a sense, but not in the sense that we believe to be true. The Universe is the Power that gave form and substance to nothingness in creating the planetary systems that are a part of the Universe. The Earth is the Power that gave form and substance in the form of Life Absolute that created all of the forms of life that there are on the Earth.

Human beings derive the energy to maintain Life Force from four sources: heart that pumps blood through veins, connection to other humans, connection to the Earth, and connection to the Universe. It is necessary to keep these connections to power working well by performing certain functions regularly. Keep the body healthy to keep the heart healthy and beating strongly. Do everything that we can to help others in our lives. Do everything we can to keep the Earth healthy and thus keep our connection to Earth energy healthy. Express often, thanks for life, and thanks for the Earth, in order to keep our connection to these Creating Sources of the Earth and of the Universe healthy.

If your body and your life are not working for you, it may be that you are not accessing all of the energy sources that human beings are designed to access. ​​

Orchids are used throughout the world, in many forms, to assist healing. Thirty-six species of orchids are used in the making of Ayurvedic medicines. Five dendrobium orchid species are used in Chinese medicine. Across cultures and belief systems the orchid symbolizes enlightenment, purity, and spiritual growth, as well as tranquility, inner peace, and harmony. And besides, they are beautiful!

To me, the orchid represents the profound vitality and beauty of life, in harmony.

What I Do

​

Reiki is a healing modality that is used by a dedicated practitioner, who accesses Reiki energy that is available to all human beings that flows through the hands of the practitioner who sends the flow of energy into a body during a Reiki session. Reiki practitioners receive an attunement that connects the Reiki practitioner to Reiki energy so that the practitioner not only uses, but actually becomes Reiki energy. It is a practice that was rediscovered by Dr. Mitsuo Usui in Japan is the 1930s, when it was understood through contemplation that healing energy is always available, and that this healing energy can be used by people to make their bodies feel and be balanced by directing energy to the places in the body where energy is blocked and not moving that impacts the general flow of energy through the body. When the flow of energy is blocked, the body does not work the way that it was designed to work.  Reiki energy keeps the flow of energy in the body flowing so that blocks do not occur. 

​

Reiki energy flows through the hands and into the body of the one receiving Reiki. The practitioner places hands that feel quite warm on or above the person who is receiving Reiki, and uses hand placements to direct Reiki energy, working along the pathway of chakra locations. The practitioner may work on each chakra area for a period of time before moving on to the next location. There are 12 major chakras that are located on the line that runs along the spinal column, from above the top of the head to the feet. Basically, the energy that is being given to each chakra balances each chakra and has a balancing effect on the body's total energy. The practitioner can detect areas in which the energy is not moving, and move the energy so that it is not backed up in a location. While balancing energy takes no time to do, and Reiki acts instantly, there can be a delay in feeling the full effects of the session, as the body needs time to shift its many parts to the state of balance that Reiki energy achieves.

The Reiki session is scheduled for a two hour period. This time includes a full hour to talk. During this time, the practitioner may talk about how Reiki works with a new client, but most of the talk time is dedicated to you, the recipient, and gives you the opportunity to talk about yourself and your needs for healing.  Please talk about everything that you believe is relevant to your situation. Everything that you talk about is held in confidentiality. The Reiki session itself lasts about 45 minutes to one hour.
 

The Reiki practitioner is not limited by location.  The Reiki work that is not done in-person is referred to as work done distantly. Reiki energy accesses the energy connections, the energetic signature, in all living things instantly, so that even if a person is on the other side of the Earth from the practitioner, the effect of Reiki done distantly is the same as the effect of Reiki done in person. 

 

When I work with you, even before we meet, I get general information about which body systems and organs show indications of energy imbalance, and I do distant work that sends Reiki energy balancing to those parts. The things that you tell me about during talk time are the things that I work on in session. I do additional distant work after the session has ended, if there is a need.
